B.Tech course – Academic Regulations 2005 – Requirement of credits - Some Clarifications – Regarding.

Engineering Colleges.

Sir,

Sub: B.Tech. course – Academic Regulations, 2005 – Requirement of credits – Some Clarifications – Regarding.

As per the Academic Regulations of 2005 for B.Tech. (Regular) Degree Course, a student will be declared eligible for the award of the B.Tech. Degree if he fulfills the following:

(i) pursued a course of study for not less than four academic years and not more than eight academic years

(ii) registered for 224 credits and secured 216 credits with compulsory subjects as listed below:

(a)all the first year subjects
(b) all practical subjects (Labs)
(c) industry oriented mini-project
(d) seminar
(e) project work

In this connection, it may be noted that even if a student fails in two theory subjects or absents himself / herself for any two theory subjects, the student is eligible for the award of the B.Tech. Degree if he / she fulfills the academic regulations (i) and (ii), mentioned above.

For the students who have passed all the subjects for 224 credits, the Consolidated Marks Memos and the Provisional certificates will be dispatched to the concerned Colleges directly. Any student who failed in one theory subject or two theory subjects can also get his / her Consolidated Marks Memo and Provisional Certificate by submitting the enclosed Undertaking to the University through the concerned Principal.

Note:
Any student (B.Tech/B.Pharm) who failed in one theory subject or two theory subjects can also get his / her Consolidated Marks Memo and Provisional Certificate along with the other students (After the deceleration of 4-2 results u can apply for CMM & PC) by submitting the enclosed Undertaking to the University through the concerned Principal.You can get an undertaking form from the below link.

hii..iam a 2004 batch student but re-admitted as r05 batch....at present iam in final year,so can i have 216 credits..

They wont be indicated in Consolidated Marks Memos

im 4 th year IT..i have 2 backlogs microprocessor,embedded systems can i leave that subjects, both having the labs..

THIS REGULATION IS ONLY FOR 2005 BATCH OR ALSO FOR RUNNING BATCH 2007 IS APPLICABLE

im 4 th year IT..i have 2 backlogs microprocessor,embedded systems can i leave that subjects, both having the labs..
yes u can leave them(lab based subjects).but clear all the labs.

this rule is applicable only for the r05 regulation students only...if u leave 2 subs then in consolidated memo marks will be appeared as "0" at tht particular subs..with a star mark indicating tht those subs are not considered.dnt worry with tht star mark bcoz every student gets cs memo with star mark indiacting tht 2 least scored subs has been removed in da calculatn part.

I'm R05 batch itself ....i have only failed in one subject n 4-1..Now in my consolidated memo or in my memo overall will i get it as "passed" or "promoted" in accordance to the rule stated above.

hello sir gud evng. am the student of 4-2 CSE, i had lost embedded system[lab based subject] in 4-1. can i keep that subject in optional.

hiii....everybody and iam from 4th year now and i hav a doubt regarding the removing of subjects is it everybody can leave the two subjects or only the failed candidates in 1 or 2 subjects can remove them.
