Many of the students who completed their MCA, M.Tech [CSE], B.Tech have a little confusion in what kind of a job they get in an MNC

Other than completing ur Master's or Bachelor's; we need to specialize in one area to settle in a good MNC


Mainly there are 4 technical dept's in an MNC.

1. Software development
2. Software testing
3. Networking
4. Database administration



1. Software development
people who are in interested in the field of coding... i.e. programming, can opt this field
You have to specialize in any of these C, C++, Core Java, Advanced Java, .Net, PHP etc.

Product based companies mainly recruit people for system programming, project based companies recruit people for application programming.

2. Software testing
One of the key step in developing a software is software testing. A single product is tested in many different ways and bugs are removed before its get released
MCA, Mtech, Btech[CSE, IT] have subjects software engineering and software testing.
People interested in these subjects can persue their career in testing tools.


3. Networks
One of the main segment in the technical dept is Networking side. People interested in hardware engineering, LAN, WAN, Networks and connections can persue their career in networking field. People should know Redhat linux, Shell programming in unix and do some courses related to networking[CCNA,CCNP,MCITP,CCIE, PC hardware & networking in USA [United States of Ameerpet]


4. Database administration
Database administration plays a vital role in the technical dept of any company, People who have interest in database management, People should be perfect in any of the database product [Oracle SQL, IBM DB2, MS SQL server etc]


ASP- Assistant Software Professional is the first posting in any MNC, later it changes to software engineer, senior software engineer, team leads, assistant Project manager, project lead, Project manager etc...

i dnt wan to do m.tech does it effect on my specializtn i have cmpltd b.tech C.S.E . . And i'm intrestd in softwre dev. And netwrkng . .whch 1 is best i wan to go gulf . .
