Credits Requirement For Promotions Rules (For Academic Year 2011)-According to Academic Regulations

A student shall be promoted from II to III year only if he fulfils the academic requirement of securing 40 credits from
a.One regular and one supplementary examinations of I year.
b.One regular examination of II year I semester
irrespective of whether the candidate takes the end examination or not as per the normal course of study.

Dont worry boy,last year i.e, the students admited in 2008 face the same problem,at the middle of july the university anounced that 40 credits will be sufficient to get promote for 3 rd year by considering 2-2 reg,2-1 and 1st year suppli.so more than 25 students got benifited in my clas with dat rule.this time also they will announce definetly.dont worry

Still promotion rules for this academic year are not yet release.

sir I have 34 credits till 2-1,but credit list shown that I need 37 credits to promote for 3rd year..how can I over come...is there any new rule in credit system sir...sir please help me

U need to have 37 credits untill 2-1 regular exams in order to be promoted to 3rd year from 2nd year. Concessions are given every year for promotion rules. so they might even give this time also.so,dont worry. Promotion rules will be released after all the results of May/June 2013 are released. We will alert u as soon as notification is issued.
