Even a layman is aiming at a tablet pc... Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola and many more have introduced their own tablets to the market

But what matters is the cost of the tablet... All the major companies have their price range from र30,000 to 50,000

Only few can afford it.. but for few in their dreams!!!

The Indian Govt has now introduced the new "Aakash" tablet PC, which works on Google Android operating system.





the cost of this tablet is $45 only [2900 र/-] and for students its only 35$ [2200 र/-] ... cool isn't it.

Its now cheaper than a basic mobile phone... hey wait don't rush to the dealer, because the commercial edition of this tablet will be in the market by this nov...

but for students , you have to get them by your college management only....

so... Book ur tablet now.

Hi Ravindra, can you please explain how to get it through the college management i.e., where and when to apply, whom to pay etc,.
I don't mind buying it commercially either. So, please provide information about that too.

Hi Aditya, the product is not yet released into the retail market... after its release, if u want to get it for $35 then ur college management has to purchase a bulk quantity of tablets.. so that u can purchase one...

or else.. if u want to purchase it seperately... just wait till its released.. then go to any retailer and get it for 60$...
