    JNTU-KAKINADA : M.Tech Regulations (R09) - Amendment to Rule no. 5.4

    As per M.Tech. Regulations (09), under rule No.5.4, a candidate shall be deemed to have secured the minimum academic requirement in a subject if he secures a minimum of 40% of marks in the End Examination and a minimum aggregate of 50% of the total marks in the End Semester Examination and Internal Evaluation taken together. If a candidate secures a minimum of 40% of marks in the End Examination and 40%-49% of the total marks in the End Semester Examination and Internal Evaluation taken together and secures an overall aggregate of 50% in the total semester he may be passed in those subjects also.

    In the meeting of BOS Chairmen held on 13-02-2012, vide ref.(2) read above, it is resolved to amend the rule no.5.4 of R09 Regulations as follows:

    “A candidate should secure the minimum academic requirement of 50% marks in each subject, instead of aggregate in the End Semester examinations.”
    These orders shall be applicable to all the students admitted under the Academic regulations 2009 for M.Tech Degree Courses.

    Respected Sir/Madam,
    For mtechs(R09)
    mid marks max=40
    main paper max=60 for mtechs
    According to the new amendment, i want to know what are the minimum marks to be secured separately for both mid and main paper?
