Sub:-JNTUK – Exam branch - Academic Regulations – Certain clarifications –

Some of the Principals and others raised some querries / doubts regarding the regulation that we are following for 2008 admitted batch.

The combined JNTU has framed regulations in 2007 and all the students admitted in 2007 are given the regulation R07. In 2008 the students were admitted through EAMCET counselling during July/August 2008 with the same regulations. In August, 2008 Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University was established and all the affiliated colleges pertaining to Eight costal Districts under combined JNTU have been transferred to JNT University, Kakinada.

To differentiate from combined JNTU, JNTUK has given the first year syllabus books with Academic regulations 2008 even though the R07 regulations and syllabus is followed. The complete regulations are given along with this letter. The same regulations and syllabus will be followed for 2009 admitted students also in all the colleges under JNTU Kakinada.

This is for you information and dispel any doubts in the students.
