    Examination Process

    EXAMINATION PROCESS

After the end of examinations the sealed bundles of the answer scripts along with D.forms has to be handed over at respective collection centre. The chief superintendents have to send another set of D.form to Controller of Examinations, JNTU Kakinada after the end of each series of examinations.

At collection centre the bundle no. has to be stamped on the place given for bundle number for office use only. Then the first part of OMR sheet is to be carefully cut and pack every 40 part 1 slips indicating the bundle number. On the flap of the cover, the year and semester, subject name and bundle slip number has to be written/pasted. Like this for each subject the bundles with 40 scripts have to be prepared with Question paper set wise. The In charge of centre has to verify that all
the bundles of all the colleges have been received and after preparing the bundles subject wise, set wise with 40 scripts in each cover has to send to the valuation centres. The details of subjects, No. of Scripts in each set, regulation wise has to be prepared in quadruplicate and keep one copy with them and send two copies to valuation centre and one copy to JNT University. The covers of first phase of examinations has to be sent to the valuation centres at a time and second phase of covers at later time as per the directions of the University. The first part of the OMR sheets has to be sent to JNT University, Kakinada.

At first valuation centre the S.No.of script in the bundle will be entered by the valuer. After valuation and scrutiny, the part-II will be separated and packed along with the bundle slip. The part-II slips along with the bundle slip have to be sent to JNT University, Kakinada. The Answer scripts with part-III have to be handed over to the second valuation centre in the same town.

At second valuation centre after valuation and scrutiny the part-III will be separated and packed along with the bundle slip. The part-III slips along with the bundle slip and the answer script has to be sent to JNT University, Kakinada.

At JNTUK, the part-II & part-III slips will be scanned and if the two valuations difference is going to be less than or equal to 12 marks the best of the two will be taken. If the difference is more than 12 there will be Chief examiners valuation at the University and these marks will be final.

The In charges of spot centres are requested to address the valuers and inform them to value carefully. There will be challenge of valuation and the valuers will be penalized at a later stage
