No its not compulsory.If u get less marks in the internals, i.e., below the pass mark then it should be covered up in the externals to get a total of 40 Marks out of 100 Marks.

No your failed. You need to 26 out of 75(For R09) & 28 out of 80(For R05,R07,RR,NR) in external then only u will be passed
